Harley Boat with the twin 88 motor and a reduction unit and chucks small hull with one fat guy will it run dry ?????

The belt drive we bought is not good enough to be dependable so we want put it up for sale. This week we will start to design a new drive. It may be a month or two before we have it ready. I think it will run ground OK.
